The need for warehouse storage of cargoes and containers at port terminals is caused by a variety of reasons, including: the need to sort cargo and form prefabricated consignments, the need for an expert assessment of the goods, lower cost of storage, transferring and other services, compared to services in the CCZ at the terminals port.
The company “Basis” provides full range of warehousing services:
- Bailment of cargoes at own warehouses;
- Arrangement of repacking/transferring of cargoes from one vehicle to another (container –> truck, etc.);
- Palletizing, packaging, marking, repackaging and labeling of goods;
- Inspection, condition assessment, recalculation of the quantity and range of cargo with the involvement of experts from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an independent surveyor;
- Sorting of goods by models, colors and other assortment characteristics and consolidation of consignments;
- Warehouse inventory control;
- Execution of shipping and warehousing documents.
We work with import and export cargoes, maintain warehouse inventory control, arrange storage only in sheltered warehouses within the city boundaries in order to ensure fallout protection and temperature required. For cargo transferring, we use reliable lift trucks and shifting platforms.
